I am 26 years old about to change my career for good. I have just confirmed a week trial training session at the NY Academy of Circus Arts, 6 hours away from where i’ve become comfy. This week will cost me $375.00 + travel expenses. I’m still on edge, debating if this is the right thing to do. At 26, with no real experience with fitness, i will be hurting and I already have tendonitis in my hip from when I tried a week circus training at 19 years old. I have been working on my ass at a computer for the past 8 years straight and i’m worn out. This will be a feat, both physically and financially. This trial week will be the test of strength for me to go on to a real 2 year program with them full time. Costing me $22,000 and with no financal aid. In the months to come i will be giving up my job, my laziness, my house, my wedding, my friends and my future plans that my husband and I have been trying to pursue. I will be writing a blog almost everyday, documenting the test of my willpower and encourage any reades to comment with good intentions.
