Just wanted to let you know so you can be happy for me….I am going to Cafe India for their delectable spread of mouth-watering lunch offerings. Yes, I am going to the lunch buffet. This is the first day of my new accounting job, and I am in training at the Lynnwood office. This means I have the chance to indulge in spicy, creamy butter chicken, tandoori, and naan, finished off with a cool rice pudding for dessert. As you can tell, I am counting the minutes down til noon.
After that, my new boss is taking me over to the Bothell office where I will work for the next few months with a few days up here as well. The day is going well so far. The people are nice. There isn’t a lot for me to do at this time because I am not actually not going to be working at this office normally. I will be working at the Bothell office while my boss is in the process of buying them out and transferring the employees here to Lynnwood. I am excited to be in the midst of this merging of firms! Will keep you posted on progress and new assignments in the coming weeks.
